How much does a van conversion cost?
The cost of a van conversion depends on several factors — including the materials, interior layout, finishes, and features you choose.
While we can accommodate builds on the lower end, most of the projects we take on — with full interior fit-outs and exterior upgrades — typically fall toward the higher end of the range.
Our conversions typically range from $125,000 CAD to $225,000+ CAD.
👉 Note: This pricing does not include the base vehicle, which is supplied by the client.
Accessories like upgraded suspension, solar systems, premium cabinetry, awnings, and advanced off-grid systems can all impact the final cost.

How long does the conversion process take?
On average, a full van conversion takes 3 to 4 months, depending on complexity and part availability.

Which types of vans do you convert?
We specialize in Mercedes Sprinters and Ford Transits — and those are the only platforms we work with.

We don’t sell vans ourselves, but we’ll advise you on the best vehicle for your build and connect you with trusted local dealerships we work with.

Do you accept credit cards and other payment methods?
Yes! We accept e-transfer, certified cheques, wire transfers, and credit cards — but please note, credit cards are only accepted for day installations or jobs under $15,000.
Do you offer financing for van conversions?
While we don’t offer in-house financing, many of our clients secure funding through their bank or line of credit. This often results in better terms than the long, high-interest loans offered by some third-party lenders.
Can you help with insurance for my campervan?
Absolutely! We provide all the documentation needed to register your van as a motorhome (RV) in Ontario, making it eligible for proper insurance coverage.
Our trusted local insurance partners can insure the total value of your vehicle + conversion, with rates typically ranging from $500 to $1,100 per year, depending on the build and coverage details.

Is Vancini Conversions fully insured?
Yes — we are a fully insured facility, covering all aspects of your build including cabinetry, plumbing, and electrical systems. Your van is protected while it’s in our care, and once it’s on the road, you’ll have documentation to support your insurance needs moving forward.
Any automotive-related work — such as suspension upgrades or mechanical modifications — is completed by a licensed automotive shop we partner with, ensuring full compliance and safety.
Do you do partial conversions or installs?
We offer select exterior and system installations, including:
- Suspension upgrades
- Roof fans, A/C units, and window installs (cutting and sealing)
- Electrical system installs (bulk components only — no pre-wiring or troubleshooting client-installed wiring)
- Solar panel setup and mounting.
- Exterior Accessories and upgrades
These services are billed at our standard in-house hourly rate.
👉 Note: We do not offer partial conversions involving cabinetry, plumbing systems, or interior finish work. Our team focuses on complete builds or modular upgrades that align with our process and quality standards.
